The Oddie District is an urban infill redevelopment in Reno-Sparks transforming a former Lowe’s into a next-generation innovation and community campus. The project blends light industrial space, creative and flex offices, a 300-seat food and entertainment venue, and industrial-grade loading infrastructure, including two shared enclosed loading docks, to support makers, builders, and growing companies.

Oddie District is located 10 minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, 7 minutes from the University of Nevada, Reno, under a mile from Interstate 80 and half mile from Interstate 580.

CARTWHEEL ROBOTICS JOINS THE ODDIE DISTRICT

The Oddie District is pleased to announce a new tenant joining its thriving community. Cartwheel Robotics will join the District in early 2026 in 10,000 square feet of space. Cartwheel Robotics specializes in a high degree of freedom-advanced robotics design, engineering and production typical of what you would find in humanoid robots. Cartwheel is the brainchild of engineer Scott LaValley and his groundbreaking work with industry giants Boston Dynamics, Google, and Walt Disney Imagineering, and including a background in BattleBots.

35,000 sf to 62,000 sf since relocating to The Oddie District and is now the second-largest maker space in the United States, soon to be the largest!

The Generator Makerspace

The Generator Makerspace occupies a third of the Oddie District building, and its presence presents a unique opportunity for creative class light industrial users looking for a new home. As a non-profit community-based maker organization Its resources and skilled artisans are accessible by membership – bright engineers, welcome collaborators, and plasma-cutters, laser-cutters, welding equipment, woodworking equipment and lots more – a lab for prototype thinking, production and shared imagineering.
